Our hi quality poster printing with up to a true 3200 dpi resolution available, also utilizes UV Ink. This is the most advanced ink and printing process available and allows us to offer variety of media for your custom posters and prints. Consequently, our material range includes paper, plastic, metals, wood etc. Presentation or display  board materials like foamcore, UltraBoard, Gatorboard, poster board and PVC products, are the most common types of media – and we stock most. We offer a custom size builder so you can select the exact size you want whether it is a smaller poster or print or a larger up to 24″x36″ in size. Due to the fact that we are printing directly on the media or material,  as opposed to printing on a vinyl and then mounting to other media, we can accommodate just about any thicknesses or surface quality and can act to “bring your display to life”. These advanced techniques come together and as a result our hi tech  flatbed printers deliver a great final product for your custom posters & prints. Most of these products when paired with the right material  are reusable and can be deployed numerous times.

Papers

  • Poster Board 10pt-12pt coated paper very popular for quick prints that you anticipate not having a long life. Not as rigid as other materials or media,  however if store well,  they can last years. Perfect and economical for a quick and low cost single use application. Not very stiff so we recommend a flat surface to apply to. 3M Command Strips will work or and easel.
  • Poster Paper Epson coated paper with the luster photo finish of traditional size photo – very popular if you are framing later. Ships rolled up in a tube

Core Boards

  • Foamcore Board  A foamcore (60% air) sandwiched between two sheets of paper. Perfect for a one-time or limited use, therefore a classic inexpensive sign. It provides a reasonable finish for printing signs or photos. It is rigid, so you can place on an easel, lean up against a wall, hang from the ceiling or use suction cups. Please note, foamcore boards may bow or arch relativity quickly for no other reason than change in temperature or humidity
  • GatorBoard A step up from foamcore boards. Essentially  a polystyrene foam core that is sandwiched between a fibered veneer finish which provides more stiffness and durability than foamcore. One of its practical advantages is it can withstand the elements better. It’s lightweight and can easily be mounted to many surfaces. If you are careful with storage and transport, this can be used over and over. We recommend this if you want more durability or longer term applications
  • UltraBoard This is our preferred media for indoor signage. A polystyrene foam core covered with styrene surface or face. This is softer than PVC but much harder than foamcore.  Learn More About Choosing the best Core Board
  • Falconboard ® Is a fully recyclable* rigid media board that offers superior performance over most traditional foam board options as well as high-quality printability. It is made from renewable materials. We stock 1/4″ white face and core

Our custom size select tool, lets you order your custom posters and prints, in the exact size you want. With a wide range of applications for posters and prints, we often find these three sizes (or similar) to be the most popular:

Keep In Mind

  • For posters and prints, or any large format printing, the most important aspect will be the quality or resolution of your overall file or images used in its’ composition– if you are uploading. If you are using our online designer – then this would be the images or graphics you are importing. A hi-res print ready image, originally 3.75″ x 1″, is no longer a hi-res image if it is simply being enlarged to 8″x4″ Learn More Here or reach out to us vial email or phone if you have concerns
  • If you are hanging with holes/grommets, allow at least an additional  .5″ margin
  • Please note that the final size(s) may have vary from up to:+/- 0 .49″ in width and/or height

They will guide in your layout and provide not only the overall dimensions but the trim, safe and bleeds lines so that all your content and images will print and display just as you want. Design Tip: If you are exporting from your company's design center, try to Export or Save to the setting/choice similar to "send to commercial printer" or hi Res PDF. If you are unsure of all these try to select the highest quality you can and we will adjust all here, prior to print. If we make any non print ready changes, we will send you a proof.

For Signs or Display, Posters and Print orders
For signage graphics or layouts, we recommend composing your files using vectors art and not photos/images if possible.
We also recommend you flatten your files prior to uploading/submitting. This will allow you to see any transparency issues as well as provide you a better representation of the final colors. All files need to be flatten prior to being printed.

Print Ready File/Layout Instructions:
• Bleed: 1/8″ overall (.125 of an inch) will be trimmed off each side of your product. Your Final PDF file then should be .125” larger than the card you have selected. So a Jumbo Card is 5.5” Tall x 8.5” Wide. Your submitted file would be 5.75” Tall by 8.75” wide (added .125 to the left, right, top and bottom).

• Trim (cut) Line: This is where we will cut your card down from a much larger size press sheet to the final size that you ordered.
Borders- If you card has a border design, that border needs should be at least 1/4″ thick from the bleed line to ensure a balanced look.

• Safe Area: This area is close to wear the card is trimmed to its final size.
Elements (i.e., text, graphs, tables) too close to or over the trim edge maybe trimmed further than you think due to manufacturing tolerances. Make sure no critical text or part of any image leaks into the Safe.

Images bordering the trim should be expanded to the Bleed line so that that they “bleed” off the page.

• Images/Photos: CMYK @ 300dpi (1200dpi for Bitmaps) Hi Res Print.

• Flatten File: We recommend you flatted your final print ready card as you output the file. Especially if you are using transparencies or mask. This will assure that you exactly how your cards will look. Flattening at times can adjust all colors overall. All products we print are “Flattened”. This is part of our service so if you don’t flatten the card, it is fine, as we will at no charge. We just want you to beware that this can impact the entire card at times, based on how it was originally composed.

Prep your work for printing by saving a high-quality PDF for uploading. All files must be tagged with a color profile, ideally AdobeRGB or P3, but anything in the RGB colorspace will work. We do not support embedding any other colorspaces (like CMYK). We’re currently unable to accept TIFF, PSD, PDF or RAW files for printing.

We print most products at 300 DPI or higher, so in general we recommend uploading the highest resolution file you have and we can take care of resizing your image to accommodate the final print size. In most situations we don’t recommend using tools like Photoshop to artificially scale up your file to add extra pixels that weren’t in the original capture .Make sure your background extends to fill the bleed line to avoid having any white edges
